Ah, well, it seems I was fooling myself when I suggested I'd be "catching up" on posts this week. Turns out (to no one's surprise) that it's much more fun to hang out in leisurely fashion with parents, siblings and nephews, that it's much more fun to BBQ, play board games, and push little people on a swing set, that it's much more fun to fly high in the sky with a parachute behind a powerboat, than it is to sit in front of a computer and write. It became obvious to me early in the week that the writing could wait until a quiet time after this special family trip, when I wouldn't be passing up an opportunity to laugh and relax with my nearest and dearest.
Vacation ends tomorrow, and by nightfall I'll be back in New York City. Sunday should be a great day to give you the career update I've been dying to share. Enjoy the weekend!
